- Instructor from a recognised training agency for at least six months
- Teaching status with another recognised diver training agency
- 18 years of age or older.
- Diving medical gained within the last 12 months.
- CPR certification gained within the last two years.
- First Aid certification gained within the last two years.
- Certified for 6 months with 100 logged dives.

Course Objectives
PADI recognises the experience and training other industry professionals have attained through their other affiliations.
Instructor Orientation Courses are designed principally to orientate you towards the PADI training philosophy, standards, procedures and materials necessary to teach within PADI's framework.
The programme is flexible and is performed in conjunction with the IDC programmes already scheduled.
This is concluded by attendance at the two-day Instructor Examination.
